The add unit only works on diesel injection engines.

Chiptuning works just as well on petrol engines as on diesel ones.

The add unit is an additional piece of equipment. With a single glance under the bonnet, the modification introduced can be confirmed.

Chiptuning of the electronic box requires no additional equipment or special wiring. It is only electronic data that are modified. That will perhaps avoid your having to answer embarrassing questions.

The add unit only affects the quantity of fuel injected. It changes only one parameter without taking the others into account.

Chiptuning affects ten or more parameters: fuel, turbo pressure, movement of the accelerator pedal, torque limiters, smoke limiters etc. So the engine avoids reverting to secure mode and the overall result is considerably better.

The add unit works in a linear and uniform fashion on the power curve.
